Dehydrated tomatoes have a long shelf life, and in some ways much more potent flavour than the fresh counterparts. Flavours are all concentrated, and the best sweet parts of the tomato flavour shine, whereas the often unwanted sour flavour takes a much quieter role.
Regency Tomato Flakes come from our partner facility in Shandong China, where flakes are oven roasted to bring out the maximum flavour while being dehydrated. We only use the best tomatoes, naturally farmed, for our tomato flakes. The tomato flakes can be optionally ground to powder on request, grinding is done in-house at our facility in Hong Kong.
