Buy Chilli (Naga, Ghost Pepper)
Milled and blended in Hong Kong.
This "Ghost Pepper", also known as Bhut Jolokia used to be the old hottest chilli in the world! They are grown in the wild in India, and pack a punch of 1,000,000 SHU. These chillies are still the hottest "naturally growing" chillies in the world, whereas other hotter chilli peppers are cultivated or have been genetically modified.
Trust us when we say, if you open a container of this, someone a meter away will sense a prickly feeling, as even the smallest dust particles are hot as hell.
So how to use such a hot chilli? The best usage is for sauces and dips like aoili or burger sauces. You can add just a tiny pinch and it will give a great burn while letting you keep the sauce's original colour. It's also good for those people who claim to say the chilli sauce or chilli powder isn't hot enough, and you don't want to mess up the ratio of other ingredients in a mix.
Our Ghost Chilli Pepper is pre-ground, unfortunately for now this is the only way to get ground powder (the most popular usage form) without contaminating our entire workshop and sending everyone to A&E for recovery!
Use sparingly and enjoy!
