Think you haven't heard of tikka masala before? It's maybe the most popular spice mix out of india following garam masala. This is the spice used for making Indias most famous dish, Butter Chicken. Also known as Chicken Tikka Masala. Cook with a heavy amount of butter or ghee if you can find it, add freshly chopped tomatoes, onions, grated ginger and cook with chicken. Finish with a rich amount of cream. Yes this is also one of our heaviest and fattiest dishes!
Tikka Masala Cooking Notes
Serving size: 3 grams (1 tsp)
Usage: Combine 5 tsp Tikka Masala with 1 tsp each of freshly grated ginger, garlic, and 1 cup yoghurt to marinade approximately 500-600 grams of Chicken, Paneer or other fillings. Cook with fresh chopped tomatoes, onion and add cream to thicken.
