Buy Ras El Hanout
Regency is proud to bring to you one of Morocco's favourite spice blends: Ras El Hanout. We prepare ours fresh to order, right from selecting the fresh whole spices for grinding! Ras El Hanout holds the meaning of "top of the shelf". Each spice trader has their own version of the blend including a few staple ingredients: Cumin, Coriander, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Cloves, Pepper and Ginger. Our top of the shelf also includes the exotic green peppercorns, cubeb peppercorns, allspice, cardamom, pink himalayan salt and a few other spices. We don't dilute our blend with rice powder or flour unlike cheaper brands, and can ensure our flavour is truly one of a kind. It will bring life to every dish! Best used for marinades, as a seasoning in stews and tajines, or as a spice rub. We've found a particular love for it in Falafal too. Our Ras El Hanout is the perfect blend which has matched all savoury dishes we've thrown at it so far!
Please note: We freshly grind and pack Ras El Hanout to order for maximum flavour. This signature recipe is our secret, so we cannot sell this blend in whole form.
Ras El Hanout Technical Notes
Ingredients: Allspice, Cardamom, Cassia, Chillies, Cloves, Coriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Ginger, Mace, Nutmeg, Cubebs, Green Pepper, Pink Himalayan Salt, Thyme
Usage: Use as a rub for meats or fish before cooking. Also works great as a seasoning for tajines, stews doughs, patties and anything savoury.
Please note that our ingredients are 100% natural and processed using traditional methods. As a result there may be some visible imperfections. Our spices will have variations in size and colour due to factors such as the amount of sunlight they received when growing, or the amount of rainfall in a particular season. These differences in appearance are entirely normal, and are the result of not treating them with any chemicals, reducing unnecessary hand selection, and minimizing waste.

This spice mix is absolutely delicious! Very strong fragrance and very fresh. I found I did not have to use as much spices as usual to achieve the same flavor.
