This fragrant sri lankan curry powder is one of the more hotter ones in our product range. Sri Lankan Curries are heavier on chillies, as well as cardamom for a slight sweetness compared to our Gujarati Indian curries. These curry powders are great for dals, potatoes, fish, prawns and beef. We suggest to cook in coconut oil, and finish with coconut cream for the best matching flavour.

Curry Powder (Sri Lankan) Technical Notes

Ingredients: Chilli Powder, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Turmeric, Fennel, Black Peppercorns, Curry Leaves, Cinnamon, Cardamom (Green), Cloves

Usage: Add at the very beginning of cooking with a teaspoon of oil for the best flavour. Finish with coconut milk. Great with Cauliflower, Lentils, Potato, Prawn, Fish, Chicken and Pork

Please note that our ingredients are 100% natural and processed using traditional methods. As a result there may be some visible imperfections. Our spices will have variations in size and colour due to factors such as the amount of sunlight they received when growing, or the amount of rainfall in a particular season. These differences in appearance are entirely normal, and are the result of not treating them with any chemicals, reducing unnecessary hand selection, and minimizing waste.

Cauliflower Curry

Used Regency Spice Sri Lankan Curry Powder to make a cauliflower curry for a junk trip. It went down a storm whilst the boat sailed through calm waters.
