This exotic Dutch spice blend of Speculoos Spices was first introduced to us by a close pastry chef friend, and has since opened up our eyes to a new world of euro-centric spices. Often described as a 'Christmas Spice', Speculoos has a heavy amount of cinnamon and is traditionally used for baking biscuits and cookies on St Nicholas' day in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, and also brought out in force on Christmas in Germany and other Western-European countries.
We love this blend for it's sweetness and subtle flavours brought about through Aniseed, Mace and Cardamom.

Serving Size: 0.5g (per biscuit)
Usage: Use this sweet fragrant spice blend for baking traditional Dutch biscuits. Mix in together with dry ingredients when baking.

Ingredients: Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Aniseed, Ginger, Mace, Nutmeg, Pepper
Storage: 10-25 degrees Celcius, dry place.

Our spices will have variations in size and colour due to factors such as the amount of sunlight they received when growing, or the amount of rainfall in a particular season.
