Pav Bhaji is a quintessential indian snack food - originating in Mumbai, and now popular around most of northern india. At it's core - it's simply mashed up vegetables (Bhaji), served like a sloppy joe with an english muffin style bun (Pav). There must be tomatoes and potatoes in the bhaji, the rest could be whatever vegetables you have leftover in the fridge. Now more creative versions with mushrooms, paneer, or straight up cheese also exist.

Pav Bhaji Masala Technical Notes

Ingredients: Black Pepper, Green Cardamom, Coriander, Cumin, Fennel, Kashmiri Chillies, Cassia Cinnamon, Cloves, Amchur

Usage: Add to cooked vegetables, and simmer for a few minutes for a mouth-watering spicy taste. You can also use it for dishes based around tomatoes, potatoes and bell peppers.

Suggested serving size: 1 teaspoon per 4 servings.

Our spices will have variations in size and colour due to factors such as the amount of sunlight they received when growing, or the amount of rainfall in a particular season. These differences in appearance are entirely normal, and are the result of not treating them with any chemicals, reducing unnecessary hand selection, and minimizing waste.
