Dukkah is one of those spices that is so versatile to use but at the same time not as popular as it should be on restaurant menus. It's made with fresh, coarsely ground whole seeds like cumin, fennel and coriander, mixed with coarsely chopped nuts. You can use for making a marinade crust on lamb or other meat before roasting, or mix with some olive oil and treat as a dip. It's lightly salted and so simple to make once you have this dukkah mix on hand.
This Pistachio Dukkah is a more luxurious blend of using pristine pistachio kernels, leaving a much nuttier flavour than hazelnuts.

Serving Size: 5 grams
Usage: Mix with some olive oil and use as a dip. Dukkah can also be used for coating meats or kofte before grilling.

Storage: 10-25 degrees C, dry place

I had a dinner party after a work day. After marinating & grilling the pumpkin, I spooned Greek yogurt over the slices of pumpkin and topped it generously with the Dukkah. Instant “Wow”. They loved it!
