It's a simple, traditional recipe made with minimal ingredients and no fillers, to keep all flavours fresh and most fragrant. Our kebab spices are a medium heat, and made with freshly ground chilli flakes, paprika and black peppercorns to create a depth of flavour that is warm and hot without being too strong. This is layered with some sweet cinnamon and more earthy garlic and cumin. A little bit of salt is added for convenience and that's it!
We suggest using about 5 grams of spice for every 100 grams of ground protein (meat, soy, vegetables, up to you!) Our all purpose kebab seasoning will taste great on nearly anything. Mash the spices into your mixture of meat / veggies, form into ovals and skewer. We strongly suggest marinading for a few hours, and then grill.
Kebab Spices Technical Notes
Ingredients: Cinnamon, Chilli Flakes, Cumin, Garlic, Paprika, Peppercorns (Black), Sea Salt
Usage: Mash your kebab spices into your chosen ground lamb, chicken or vegetable mix. Form the mixture into balls around the tip of the skewer, and flatten into long ovals around it. Cover and refrigerate to let the flavours marinade for a few hours, and then grill on medium-high heat. You can increase the heat to maximum at the ending for a more crispy charred surface.
