    You know when you feel like making something grand-ish for a weekend breakfast and but you’re too bleary to tackle Eggs Benedict? French toast is your answer. Always. Why? Because it’s effortless, and there’s a plethora of topping options!

     

    Regency®錫蘭肉桂粉 Ceylon Cinnamon Powder:

     

    Regency® 雲呢拿籽Vanilla Beans:

     

     

    Serving: 2-3 people 

    材料:

    6片 白方包

    30-40克 牛油

    2隻 大雞蛋

    125毫升 牛奶

    1/2茶匙 Regency®錫蘭肉桂粉

    1條 Regency®雲呢拿籽

    250克 切半士多啤梨(可選)

    1 大匙 白糖(可選)

    楓糖漿、牛油(可選)

     

    Ingredients

    6 slices white sandwich bread
    30-40g tbsp butter

    2 large eggs

    125 ml milk

    1/2 tsp Regency®Ceylon Cinnamon Powder

    1 Regency®Vanilla Beans

    250g halved strawberries (optional)

    1 tbsp white sugar (optional)

    Maple syrup, butter (optional)

     

    Instructions

     

    Step 1

    在碗中將雞蛋、牛奶、Regency®錫蘭肉桂粉和Regency®雲呢拿籽一起攪拌均勻,快速攪拌可以避免肉桂粉浮面。然後在不粘鍋中用中火融化15克牛油。

    Whisk together with the eggs, milk, Regency®Ceylon Cinnamon Powder and Regency®Vanilla Beans in a bowl. Vigorous whisk = avoid cinnamon floating on top. Melt 15g butter in a non stick skillet over medium heat.

    Step 2

    快速將一塊方包浸入雞蛋混合物中,沾滿兩面後放在平底鍋裡煎,一次可放2-3片以填滿平底鍋。

    Dunk a piece of bread quickly into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Place in pan with 2-3 slices at a time to fill the pan.

     

    Step 3

    每面煎2½ - 3分鐘,直到表面呈金黃色,然後上碟。在平底鍋中加入更多的牛油,然後繼續煎剩下的方包。 

    Cook for 2½ - 3 minutes on each side until the surface is golden, then transfer to serving plates. Add more butter into the pan and cook remaining bread.

     

    Step 4

    配上牛油和大量的楓糖漿即可食用!如果喜歡可加上士多啤梨糖醬(Step 5)。

    Serve with butter and plenty of maple syrup then can serve! You can add Macerated Strawberries up you like (Step 5).

     

    Step 5 (optional)

    將士多啤梨與糖攪拌後放在一邊20分鐘以上。草莓會軟化和出水和產生一點糖漿。 

    Toss strawberries with sugar, set aside for 20 minutes+. The strawberries will soften and sweat, and create a bit of syrup.
