Buy Sandalwood Powder
Milled and blended in Hong Kong.
Pure Sandalwood powder from India. Sandalwood is an extremely precious substance and revered for thousands of years in India owing to numerous claims about it's medicinal properties, and not to mention its fragrance. It is one of the most expensive natural substances in the world, and whole sandalwood logs are classified as an endangered species.
Sandalwood was originally an ingredient reserved just for Indian royalty in Mughal times, used for cooking kebabs of fresh caught game, rich curries and even as garnishes! It adds an inexplicable aroma and nuance that is hard to put into words, we think the best way is to try for yourself.
One of the most popular uses in India for sandalwood is as a facemask for brides-to-be. A paste is made from sandalwood and applied to the face, believing to make the face brighter and more vibrant on the big day.
Regency sandalwood powder is made from the chippings of imported sandalwood, keeping the price relatively sane at the same time without much impact on the flavour, and also trying to maximize the utility from the endangered species without creating any further impact. This item is not in stock 365 days a year as a result, but we do try our best to keep a stable source.

Please note that our ingredients are 100% natural and processed using traditional methods. As a result there may be some visible imperfections. Our spices will have variations in size and colour due to factors such as the amount of sunlight they received when growing, or the amount of rainfall in a particular season.
