Powdered garlic is very finicky as a product. We’ve covered this extensively in another article here. The main issue with powdered garlic, is that often other unsanitary parts of the garlic clove get put into the mix by certain manufacturers/packers/importers in order to save costs. Always buy whole garlic flakes, and grind fresh. Alternatively, simply use fresh garlic cloves.
