Herbs are one of the toughest food products to buy high quality of. To buy high quality Marjoram online, you need to be fully sure that what you’re getting are really Marjoram Flakes, and not flakes that look like Marjoram but are duds. This is really common in the herb trade, and we indirectly refer to this kind of dilution using different %s of volatile oil. Pure Marjoram has a high volatile oil %, around 2-3%. Diluted ones are usually much lower, 1.5%, 1.3% and sometimes even 1%. This is one reason why Regency’s Marjoram flakes smell as strong as they do – they’re pure! Welcome to read our Marjoram page for more notes, or purchase your own of the most premium tasting quality available!
