Our recommendation is to eat Green Cardamom Pods. These are the original, ancient species of Cardamom that has been growing in India for centuries. It carries a much richer and sweeter flavour than other cardamom varieties such as White Cardamom. Cardamom Pods come in many sizes, the largest sizes (assuming they are naturally grown!) tend to be the most filled with nutrients, as these have had sufficient time to absorb more minerals from the earth. Large, artifically grown pods don’t differ much in total nutrition per pod, so they are actually less nutritions per g when bigger! Be sure to buy as natural as possible to benefit the most. In case you’re unsure, please refer to our quality and grade standards here when buying good quality Cardamom pods.
