This time it’s french toast stick, tastes like cinnamon doughnuts but a whole lot healthier!
Servings: 2-3
材料:
4片 厚切方包
2隻 雞蛋
1/4杯 牛奶
1/3杯 白糖
適量 鹽
3湯匙 牛油
楓糖漿(沾醬)
Ingredients:
4 thick slices white bread
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup white sugar
A bit of Salt
1 tsp Regency® Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
3 tbsp butter
Maple syrup to serve
Instructions 步驟
Step 1
切走每片方包的邊,然後將每片切成3塊相同厚度的面包棒。
Remove crust of each slice, then cut each into 3 equal thick batons.
Step 2
將雞蛋、牛奶和一小撮鹽放入一個足以滾方包棒的碗中。
Combine the eggs, milk and a pinch of salt in a bowl large enough to roll the bread sticks in.
Step 3
將肉桂和糖混合放在碟裡。
Combine the cinnamon and sugar on a plate.
Step 4
在平底鍋中用中高火融化2湯匙牛油。將方包棒放入在雞蛋混合物中快速滾動(不要浸泡它們),刮走多餘的蛋液,然後放入平底鍋中分批煎。
Melt 2 tbsp of the butter in a large pan over medium high heat. Roll the sticks in the egg mixture quickly (do not soak them), shake off excess and place in pan. Cook in batches.
Step 5
將每面煎到金黃色,然後立即將方包棒取出,放進肉桂糖的碟中每面均勻沾滿(最重要的是要在熱的時候快速的直接從鍋裡取出,讓熱力能沾著肉桂糖)。然後可以與楓糖漿一起食用。
Turn to cook each side until golden. Immediately transfer to the plate with the cinnamon sugar and roll to coat (It's important to do this quickly while they are hot straight out of the pan so it sticks). Serve immediately with maple syrup to dunk the sticks in.
